 a dangerous thought

brushed past my mind

what if, for once

I were the poem?

destiny smiled,

fate grinned

and now my life

spun into poetry

my heart a fluttering metaphor

something I didn't ever wish for

my mind a stanza

that refuses to end

all the broken pieces

waiting to be mend

my emotions bleed

through my eyes on the crisp white

on which without pause, I write

now the poem is my life

and my life is the poem

traumatizing to read

excruciatingly painful to live

hard to comprehend

so here I surrender

and ask for forgiveness

I beg for revision

make my life a simple prose

honest soft sweet smelling rose

dare to pluck, get pricked by the thorn

for I am weary of being torn

erase the excess

spare the beauty of suffering

all I ask for is an ending

where all my sorrows run out of breath

Wednesday, 3 September 2025

today i succumb to the storm, i am numb
my receptors long scarred,
immune to the lashings,
immune to the endless echoes
of demeaning words.
i am not hurt
not anymore.
the pain has dulled itself into silence,
and not a lesson left to carve into me.
the impoliteness,
the disregard,
the refusal to see me as a living pulse
all of it has withered into nothingness.
and so,
i question myself with every faltering step,
each doubt a thorn lodged deeper.
i know that time could never heal this and
that tomorrow carries no dawn,
only the same grey shroud.
then what am I reaching for?
what future is there to cling to?
a promise of more poison,
more venom whispered into my ears,
the same refrain of how useless I am,
how potential was never mine
as if I were born hollow.

lying on the floor of the balcony

i close my eyes reminiscing about

the moment when you

held my hand for the first time,

the chills, the butterflies,

you pulled me close to you,

and i stared into your intoxicating eyes,

just then, chilly air breezed through my face,

and i opened my eyes to see the enchanting moonlit sky,

i yearn for your warm hands to caress me

with love, and tell me it will all be okay,

maybe it was a fantasy,

moonlight often does that to me.

I'm shaking, and my hands tremble,

With fear

My thoughts assemble-

How will I ever get there?

Will I even belong?

I desperately seek an escape route

Tired of this pursuit

But then I remember-

Promises were made,

Blood sweat and tears, I'm afraid

What is this journey when will it end?

Will I work my way up?

When will I stop this game of pretend?

I tell myself it's okay to feel,

But this weakness in my knees,

it’s forcing me to kneel.

I wonder how am I ever going to heal?

I suppress my emotions and run in this race

For I have to show my face

To the world, to everyone who expects

Here's to forever living in this complex

While waiting for the race to end,

 I continue to pretend

 I smile and I laugh

but my tears too,

they need a vent.

I write today after an eternity

Hoping to find my identity.

(not today)

Sometimes when you’re living but you’re not really hopeful or expectant or that you just don’t want to continue to breathe. Sometimes you are just living. Sometimes you do things that may indicate (falsely) that it was expected of you to live one more day or the rest of your apparently busy and bright life. But unfortunately that is just a misconception. I fear that misconception. I fear leaving one thing or the other for the next day and I do not know if anybody is ever thankful for this procrastination, but I think that some people will be, after reading this because this procrastination prevents one from killing oneself and lets one live with all what one feels for one more day or the rest of one’s life. Living is challenging and so is dying. But the most challenging thing is to swing. The most challenging thing is to choose. For living you already are, you are breathing and eating and smiling and living, but what is it like to be dead? To be or not to be is the question. It’s hard to seek the answer, for this question is not just one. It is a series of questions that lead you into a tunnel from bright to dark, from light to night, it has doors and you have to choose which one to get into but you don’t know the path they lead to, you can only know by walking through it. There may be a way back but one might not be able to find it if one has gone too far.The brain is a huge space. Follow the light while you still can, for darkness will eat you up and you will end up in a drab place.

beautiful however

don’t want to be
close to you
don’t want to see
what you see
don’t want to stay
in this place,
full of uncertainty
just want to go away
far, far away
into the blue sea
where the winds blow
wherever I want them to be
where I want to go
wherever the waves take me
knowing it’ll be
beautiful however.

scarred mind
crooked thoughts
dying inside
patience rots

say it all
speak out loud
hush stop
don’t burst your cloud

pour your heart
in this lullaby
sing me to sleep
while you sit back and cry

and hurt and bleed
I’ll wake up the morrow
beaming with ecstasy
while you still die in sorrow

no hope for tomorrow
no will for today
pleading with Him to
send you away.

I do not know.

-excerpt from a letter that I'll never send

I do not know why am I writing this when I can say anything directly to your face, when I can share how I truly feel without any hesitation, when I can share my pain or what's inside my brain without even thinking about it, or can I?
 I do not know.

ice cold world

eerie cold outside
barren and wide
spicules of ice
first may entice
then make bleed
'til you plead
cry in despair
chilly biting air
dear vagabond
don't go beyond
it's an everlasting feud
cruel and shrewd
springs never bloom
warmth has no room
stay in here
vagabond dear
beyond is hell
dead numbing well
it'll either make you weep
or lose sleep
it'll either make you regret
or never wake up instead.

amorphous white clouds rise up in my head
made by the little things that I leave unsaid
light as cotton they float and stroll
heavy as emotions cold as my soul
trapped in a cage I can't feel
will you hold me close until I heal?
will you hold onto me and never let me go?
will you take my hand and kiss me slow?
will you embrace the beauty of the rain?
will you stay by my side when I'm in pain?
will you make all our dreams come true?
will you have faith in me like you have faith in you?

something more

The melody of your footsteps
while you walk into my heart
Slowly, steadily then so fast
The song my heart sings
when it finds you approaching
It's sweet but the beats
deadly and dangerous
As hot as fire
a burning desire
As cold as a broken heart
which has been torn apart
Escalating emotions
deeper than the oceans
You hold me tight
We dance through the night
What's between us is inexpressible
It's not love
It's something more
It's the pain and the cure
Your soul and my soul wed
entangled with this enchanting thread.

night shift
moves swift
fists clenched
mind drenched
in darkness
and fear
trembling steps
so still so warm
silence before the storm
lightening strikes
as those hungry eyes
pounce on her
she screams she cries
louder than thunder
but in vain
so much pain so much pain
heart aches
faith dies
should've seen her shining eyes
should've seen the dream they saw
before you raped her and ate them raw

I sit in the bus and I see
A future without me
I sit in the bus and I feel
My cuts and wounds heal
I sit in the bus and I find
An ailing old lady with eager eyes
Staring at me for quite a while
Keen on sitting in my seat
I look at her in denial
I can't let her take my place
I'm not ready to switch my phase
I sit in the bus and I don't know
Where it is going next
But I know where it is going to go.

I am not a poet
For I can't compose
the poem of my heart
when I see you smile

I am not an artist
For I can't sketch
the outline of the beauty
that lies within you

I am not a sculptor
For I can't chisel
the sultry curves
of your voluptuous body

But I am a lover
for I have loved you
and I will love you
forever mi amor

broken again

those torn pieces of paper
scattered on the ground
are the broken pieces
of my crying heart
they are the crushed pieces
of my dying hope
they are the tears
that drip down my scarred face
i just can't
too weak to stand
too weak to fall again
too tired
to build the castle of trust again
to sow the seed of hope again
only to wait for it to be
broken again into a thousand pieces
broken again by an invader
who doesn't understand
how hard it is to grow flowers again in  deserted sand
how hard it is to feel again when you've been numb for a long long time

Tuesday, 18 December 2018

broken souls
dead dreams
wandering
soaked in the lie of life
hoping to find shelter
the shelter of hope
screaming the heart out
all inside the heart
dark night
waiting
for the stars to brighten
the faded lines of fate
carved on the palms
of the hands
which have committed
the sin of loving the wrong
seeking forgiveness
craving to go to the arms
where they truly belong

Turning the pages of my diary
I always stop at the same story
It's about the sea, the rain, the hills
Reading it again, it still gives me chills
So here is how my story goes
Here is how strangers come close

The night was dark, the stars were bright
The tides were high, it was midnight
I couldn't sleep so I went for a walk
I sat by the sea on an huge rock
The waves sung me a lullaby
I lied in the sand, eyes on the sky

I don't know when I fell asleep
But woke up when the sky began to weep
I saw a hand approaching mine
That face had a distinct shine
Our eyes locked in the scarlet sky
I still remember his scent, I'm not going to lie.

to a friend who needs it

Running away from a situation is easy.
It takes you so far from the reality.
But let's face it:
You are still thinking about it while you lie on the misty grass. The thought never ever leaves you.
It rather takes you to a strange place.
Where the sky is dark grey no matter if it's noon or night. There is a moon and there are a few stars but they can't get you out of that darkness now because you left that light far behind you. You chose to run from it.
You will find those clouds appealing, you may approach them so you're not lonely. But darling let me tell you, rain is only beautiful when you have a shelter, and you have come so far from home, that you just shouldn't. Because this rain will make you cold, and you will not have the warmth of the stars you ran from.
REALISE.
IT'S NOT TOO LATE.

Monday, 1 October 2018

Yes, it was true
that heavy shade of blue
in her smile.
That tint of red
in her eyes.
You see.
but don't realize.
Why will you?
you don't care!

Yes, it was true

that heavy shade of blue
in her smile.
But that laughter...
Oh that laughter!
It got me carried away
it was magical!

Call Me

Call me
And talk to me for hours
About the night sky
And the glittering stars.

Call me
And talk to me for hours
About your dreams and passions
And the mission Mars.

Call me
And talk to me for hours
About your fierce fights
And your hidden scars.

Call me
And talk to me for hours
About your drunk days
And nights at bars.

Call me
And talk to me for hours
About how you need me
And mine and yours to be ours.
